The journey started with Master Sunder Das And Sons, a distinguished family business rooted in the rich legacy of stone mining, with its origins traced back to Pakur, Jharkhand. Founded on the ethos of delivering quality stone chips and ballast to the esteemed Indian Railways, the company has established itself as a trusted name in the industry.
However, enthused with the hunger of rooting it’s footprints in other fields as well, the establishment took a transformative turn in 2010 with the inception of Sakhi Food Products, a rice mill located in Rampurhat, Birbhum district. Specializing in parboiled rice varieties like Bashkati, Minikit etc., this venture not only diversified the company's portfolio but also created impactful ripples in the rice market.
Building on this success, the company expanded its horizons once again in 2016 by venturing into the Flour and Atta industry. Sakhi Agro Food Products, situated in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, emerged as a key player in the production of premium wheat products, including Atta, Maida, Suji, etc.

Buhler Plants
Both Sakhi Food Products and Sakhi Agro Food Products operate separate Buhler plants, each specialized for different food products. These plants are equipped with cutting-edge technology and automation to ensure efficient production processes.
> Rice Production Line (Sakhi Food Products):
- Cleaning and De-stoning Section: Raw paddy undergoes thorough cleaning to remove impurities.
- Milling and Polishing Unit: Cleaned paddy is milled and polished to produce high-quality rice.
- Sorting and Grading System (Sortex): Advanced optical sorting technology categorizes rice grains based on color, size, and shape.
- Packaging Section: Premium quality rice is weighed, packed, and prepared for distribution.
> Flour Production Lines (Sakhi Agro Food Products):
- Maida (Refined Wheat Flour) Production:Wheat grains are cleaned, milled, and refined to produce maida.
